According to the current situation of industry talent demand in Yangtze River Delta region and the future development, combining with its own conditions for running schools, College (Department) of Landscape Architecture has built up four professional groups, landscape technology, landscape architecture, forestry as well as tea industry and golf. College (Department) of Landscape Architecture has a rich experienced and strong faculty team. At present, total number of this department is 51, including 6 professors, 3 researchers, 13 associate professors, 9 doctors. And the full-time teachers with master's degree or above are in the proportion of more than 88.7%. There are one national teaching master, one provincial teaching master, and one national agricultural vocational education teaching master. The proportion of "double teacher" has reached 85.3%. All of these bring College (Department) of Landscape Architecture the title of honor "Jiangsu Province Higher School Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization".
Over the years, in accordance with the professional development, College (Department) of Landscape Architecture has finished the construction of the perfect and domestic first-class experimental and practical teaching bases including two bases of a state-level demonstration training and a production demonstration, as well as the provincial higher education talents training mode innovation experiment base.
By now there has been nine training bases, including garden plant cultivation teaching workshop, landscape engineering teaching workshop, plant factory breeding technology training center, garden planning design center, plant conservation center, landscape architectural engineering teaching workshop, landscape architectural design center, furniture training center, tea teaching factory and so on.
